Responsibilities
- Provide Control-M related consulting services
- Installation, administration and maintenance of Control-M components
- Migration of Control-M automation environments to new releases and platforms
- Integrate Control-M with SAP, ERP and Databases
- Resolve Control-M issues
- Provide Control-M support (24×7), from time to time on request
- Create and maintain Control-M scheduling definitions
- Consult application teams and project managers in the design and maintenance of complex automation processes
- Consult apsware customers in the usage of Control-M Quantitative and Control resources for workload balancing
- Consult customers in the design and implementation of Service Level based automation monitoring
- Consult Control-M users in designing an efficient automation monitoring environment
- Create meaningful documentation of Control-M environments and processes
- Train Control-M users
The best candidate will have the following skills:
- Linux System Administration (minimum 2 years practical experience required)
- Windows System Administration (minimum 2 years practical experience required)
- SQL knowledge (Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL) (minimum 2 years practical experience required)
- Network Communication knowledge
- Deep knowledge in Shell scripting, including Powershell
- Have worked with PeopleSoft and SAP installations
- Basic knowledge of ITIL
- Solid understanding and experience in the SDLC including design, coding, testing and debugging skills
- Experience in providing IT Consulting Services
- You understand IT- and Software-Architectures and the value they provide for organizations
- Very good communication skills
- Ability to work in complex projects
- You have very strong German and English language skills
Any of the following skills are a bonus:
- Ideally, you have experience in Scheduling, Workload Automation, Digital Business Automation, DevOps, or Managed File Transfer markets
- Ideally, you have a University or a University of Applied Sciences degree, e.g. in IT
- Ideally, you have gained experience with BMC Control-M or another Workload Automation solution
- Ideally, you have knowledge in High Availability/Disaster Recovery concepts and implementations
- Ideally, you have knowledge in File Transfer protocols
- Ideally, you have knowledge in Clustering concepts
- Ideally, you speak an additional language, e.g. French, Spanish
