3. COLLECTION AND STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA AS WELL AS TYPE AND PURPOSE OF THEIR USE
a) When visiting our website
You can visit our website www.apsware.com without having to provide any information about yourself (who you are).
In the case of such purely informational use of our website, i.e., if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information about yourself, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. When you access our website www.apsware.com, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. c) Processing in connection with login and download account

Purpose of processing

Where necessary in individual cases, processing may also be based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring the proper operation of the website, preventing misuse (e.g., multiple registrations, automated access), and analyzing system performance.
Data sharing
Your data will not be shared with third parties unless it is required for contract fulfillment or prescribed by law.
Retention period
Your data will be stored as long as the user account is active and there are no statutory retention obligations. After deletion of the account, the data will be permanently deleted unless legal reasons require longer storage.

d) Processing in connection with job applications
If you apply to us, we process the personal data you provide (e.g., name, contact details, application documents, communication history) for the purpose of handling the application process.
In the case of unsolicited applications, i.e., not related to a specific job advertisement, the processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR in conjunction with § 26 para. 1 BDSG. If no hiring takes place, your data will generally be deleted immediately after the selection process, unless you have explicitly consented to a longer retention.
For applications for specific advertised positions, your data are also processed based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR in conjunction with § 26 para. 1 BDSG. After completion of the selection process, we store your documents for up to six months to document the application process and address any legal questions. The legal basis for this retention is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in properly documenting the process and preserving potential legal claims.
If you are hired, your application documents will be included in your personnel file and further processed pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR and § 26 para. 1 BDSG for the purpose of executing the employment relationship.
e) Contact outside the contact form
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or by other means, we will process the personal data you provide (e.g., name, telephone number, e-mail address, concern) solely to handle your request.
The legal basis for this processing is:
- in case of general inquiries, your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR,
- or – if the inquiry is aimed at a contractual relationship – Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR.
Your data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for processing and there are no legal retention obligations. Additionally, we reserve the right to statistically evaluate anonymized data from inquiries to improve our service quality.
4. DISCLOSURE OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES
Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below. In particular, your data will not be passed on to third parties for advertising purposes without your express consent.
