APS ENTERprise announces the availability of TWSemon 4.4.0
TWSemon 4.4.0 is available immediately and comes with many functional enhancements.
- Support of TWS for z/OS 9.1.
- A new feature has been added to ensure that the most critical delays (late operations, milestones) get the highest attention:
An operation that has not started or completed in time can receive up to four different escalation times. The different escalation steps are clearly marked through color-coding in the working and supervisor screen.
New options to define late operations (milestones) enhance the flexibility and the accuracy of the TWS monitoring.
- Notification groups (Milestone Groups) can be defined and monitored more easily, ensuring SLA compliance:
The new panel design simplifies the definition of “Notification groups”. Multiple operations can be assigned to a Group. If a group is not completed in time, alert messages will be issued. The new “Q” (query) command provides detail information about the operation status within a group. The line command “Q” is also available on the controller level, showing all operations associated to groups, which have not completed atthe query time.
- Simplified administration for multiple controller environments:
In addition to the Controller-specific settings, common settings valid for all controllers can be managed centrally through the new “Global settings” function.
- Enhanced Documentation and Reporting capabilities:
Comments associated with an “out-of-line” situation can now have up to 240 characters.
New search capabilities allow retrieval of relevant information from theTWSemon archive.
