apsanalytics dashboard 1.7, visualjob for Control-M 9.7

apsware would like to inform you about the general availability of aps analytics dashboard 1.7.0 and visualjob for Control-M 9.7.0.

We have enhanced the functionality of the aps analytics dashboard and visualjob for Control-M in a number of noteworthy areas.

The main enhancements in visualjob for Control-M in this new release include:

  • The critical path report now also shows the non-critical predecessors of those jobs, which are part of the critical path
  • The critical path report has additional fields included, like CPU consumption, time from, Folder, Application, Sub Application
  • Options to increase the in the critical path report generation for environments using group scheduling (smart tables)
  • Performance improvement while loading statistical database (SQL Server)

The main enhancements in the aps analytics dashbaord in this new release include:

  • Ability to administer and generate reports for an unlimited number of data sources (the previous release had a limitation of 5 data sources)
  • Auto log-out feature
  • The length of the tab bar description extends for longer tab names (may require a reload)
  • Simplified installation: All report types are automatically available with a default report type name

and for Control-M history reports (data source visualjob for Control-M):

  • An option in the Control-M Critical Path report to add the non-critical predecessors for those jobs which are part of the critical path
  • The critical path report also has additional fields included, like CPU consumption, time from, Folder, Application, Sub Application
  • User will get prompted to select one or multiple jobs form a selection list, if the specified job name is not unique. This applies to the Control-M Job Runtime and to the Control-M Start/End Runtime report type. It also applies to the Control-M Job Statistics report, if only one job is specified in the criteria list
  • An option to give a descriptive name to a Control-M Job Runtime, a Control-M Start/End Runtime and a Control-M Job Statistics report
  • Simplified layout of the compact dashboard view for table based report types, focusing on essential information
  • Further performance improvements in many areas

We recommend upgrading to these new versions as soon as possible.
